Film Sierra County

Sierra County truly is a "Land of Endless Frontiers." Our film locations are unique from extensive and incredibly preserved historic sites to the visionary Spaceport America. We promote the creation of jobs in the film and entertainment production industries and promote economic development including through film in Sierra County, NM. The Sierra County Economic Development Office has established a gallery of film locations within the County.

Sierra County has an abundance of diverse locations: Historic store fronts, Rio Grande River & agricultural valley, the Gila National Forest, arid deserts, verdant mountains, remote streams & New Mexico's largest lake, deep Canyons, winding mountain roads, dusty hiking trails - about the only locations we can't provide are metropolitan high-rise buildings and congested freeways.
